Hiring Advice for Employers
Guidance for reaching candidates across our regional network. Post a job or read on for tips.
Writing a Job Listing That Works
- Be specific about location and remote options. Candidates filter by both, so an accurate location and a clear remote/on-site/hybrid setting will bring you better-matched applicants.
- State the salary range where you can. Listings with salary information generally attract more relevant applications, since candidates can self-select before applying.
- Separate responsibilities from requirements. Our listing form has dedicated fields for each — use them so candidates can quickly see what the role involves versus what you need from them.
- Add your company details. A company description, website, and logo make a listing noticeably more credible to candidates than a bare job description.
What Happens After You Post
Every listing is reviewed before it goes live, so there can be a short delay between submitting and publication. Once approved, you can manage the listing — including editing or marking it filled — from your Job Dashboard. If you do not have an account yet, posting your first job creates one for you automatically.
Hiring Across Southeast Asia
Employment norms, notice periods, and market rates vary across our nine regional markets — Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Brunei, and the Philippines. If you are hiring in a market that is new to you, our advisory team can help with the wider context; see Solutions for the services we offer employers directly.
SEACHAM Member Network
Many employers on SEAC Jobs are also members of the South East Asia Chamber of Commerce (SEACHAM), our regional business network. Chamber membership is free and gives your company visibility in our members directory alongside your job listings. Learn about SEACHAM membership.
